Crystallization, melting point 227 ℃ (breakdown). Cephalosporins thiazole oxime Sodium (Sodium) : Cdtizoxime C13H12N5O5S2Na. [68401-82-1). White or light tawny crystalloid powder, a few odourless. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol, several insoluble in ethanol, acetone, chloroform, ether or ethyl acetate. Acute toxicity LD50 mice and rats (mg/kg) : approximately 6000, intravenously. The third generation cephalosporin antibiotics, to a variety of gram-positive and electronegative bacterium all have antibacterial action, but to gram-negative bacterium function is stronger. Used for sensitive caused by the bacterium respiratory infections, urinary tract infection, biliary infections, bone and joint infection, skin and soft tissue infection, gynecological diseases, septicemia, peritonitis, meningitis and heart endometritis, etc.
